Mass with Archbishop Hebda

On Sunday, October 29 Archbishop Hebda celebrated Mass at Resurrection. We were honored to have the Archbishop with us!

Discovering Christ

Our parishes have had great success with the Discovering Christ and Following Christ programs. This fall, St. Catherine of Siena will host Discovering Christ on Wednesdays from October 4 through November 15 from 6:30-8:15 p.m.

Please join us and bring a friend! You’ll experience good food, fellowship, and small group discussion in a welcoming environment.

To register online, fill out the form:

To register by phone, call Mary Ann Mulkerin at 412-886-8067.

We’re also recruiting volunteers, so please let us know if you’d like to help with this wonderful program!

Called to Serve

All four of our parishes could use volunteers for all ministries in the Church. We need Lectors to read at Mass and funerals; Eucharistic Ministers to both serve communion and the precious blood at Mass and taking communion to the home-bound, and Ushers to help take up the collection. Some of you may be attending one of the churches that is not your “Home Parish,” but you can serve at any of our churches. Just let us know if you are interested by calling one of the parish offices and leaving your name, phone number, and what ministries you are interested in helping with.

Fr. Jim

Statue of Mary Pilgrimage: Beginning in October our parishes will be starting an initiative to have greater devotion to Our Blessed Mother. We will have a travelling statue of Mary which we ask families to sign up for to take to your home for one week and invite people to your home to pray the rosary with you daily if possible.

If you wish to take the statue please sign up on the form in the Sacristy of the Church (where the priest vests). As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima this month, this will be a great way to respond to her calling us to pray more and especially to pray the rosary.
